The tic-tac door design of the entryway leads to an additional storage for a shoe rack and store room. For the love of coffee, a drink station was built to allow seamless spatial flow as part of their day-to-day routine. A sliding glass divider was installed in between the kitchen and dining area to section the space whenever needed, while allowing daylight to enter from the windows. The homeowner requested that an arch feature wall at the living room be built as it is commonly seen in Scandinavian-inspired homes, allowing them to play around with decor and personal keepsakes. Curvatures were incorporated into the carpentry surfaces and edges to create an interesting layer to the design. The selection of materials and textures remained consistent throughout the majority of the home to inculcate a soothing visual continuity.
