Overflowing with character and personality, this cosy dwelling is a precious trove of vintage treasures. Impeccably paired with a Modern Industrial interior design, an aura of cheer and playfulness pervades every crevice of this space. A medley of concrete, stone and wood marries marvellously with a palette of effortless neutrals, forming a stunning backdrop for eclectic collectibles and decor. Exposed brick and raw timber saturate the dining area with rustic charm, complete with a spacious nook by the window for extra seating. An explosion of patterns fills the immensely functional kitchen–with traditional patterned tiles and glossy ultramarine marble just to name a few. The master’s focal point assumes the form of an ash grey plaster wall, jazzing up the otherwise minimalist bedroom with an understated pop of texture.
Having a penchant for all things retro, the homeowners wanted the design of their home to complement their vintage collectibles. The interior designer did just that by opting for a Modern Industrial interior design theme, with pared back colours and textures to let everything else shine.
Storage was a top priority for the homeowners, especially in the communal areas. A plethora of built-ins was included by the interior designer, from the endless cabinets in the kitchen to the convenient compartments under the window seat.
