Interior Designer’s Thoughts
The homeowners requested for a Nordic interior for their family home. Being pet owners, they wanted the design to cater not only to their lifestyle needs but to their dog as well. They were keen on having a clean colour palette with versatile components patterns to match with some of their eclectic decor and furnishings. The design brief emphasis on ample storage space, hence, full height cabinets, display units and platform beds were built to maximise the space. The curve arch enjoined with the cabinetry of the living room serves as a spot for their dog to lounge. To break the monotony of the white walls, the interior designer suggested building an arch feature wall with an open shelf for them to display their prayer essentials.
